In the last few years I've acquired a small collection of vintage cameras and lenses which have traveled with me each time I've relocated to a new country. Though they're not the most practical thing to lug around from continent to continent, they've been a constant source of joy.

My mother always asks me why I still shoot with film when I'm living in the digital age. Its not the easiest thing to explain, and I've yet to succeed in convincing her that new is not always better. I could begin by talking about eliminating the instant gratification that an LCD screen provides, but that is topic for another discussion altogether. Simply put, I'm an analog player in a digital world. In fact, I have my eye on a few new cameras to add to my collection. But before breaking the bank over some new toys, I have to figure out how to store my cameras. As you know, cameras don't fold or keep easy.

While searching for some storage inspiration, I came across The Wright House and their collection of cameras.

Though my collection pales in comparison to the Wright's, I have the next few year to catch up just so I can store them the same manner Natalie Wright keeps her treasures:

Ingenious! If only Ikea made something like this, I wouldn't have to worry about packing and shipping it to the next country I'll be living in. Regardless, I think my vintage cameras have found their new vintage dream home. Now, to go hunting for a mail sorter of my own!

A girl can dream, right?
